This course will provide students with an understanding of applied movements skills and lifelong, broad-based athlete development through lectures, course assignments, and active formal (target, strike/field, net/wall, invasion) game sessions. Topics such as talent identification, development, and optimization as well annual training planning and periodization will be examined in the context of lifelong athlete development and through a thematic approach to game understanding. Prerequisite: KP100 and Year 2 of BKin program. Exclusion: Previous 100-level 0.25 credit courses.
